Day 0 : Kilimanjaro airport - Arusha

Today get to meet with our team at Kilimanjaro airport while we transfer you to your accommodation at Arusha Town .Located below Mount Meru on the eastern edge of the eastern branch of the Great Rift Valley, Arusha City has a temperate climate. The city is close to Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Conservation AreaLake Manyara National Park, Olduvai Gorge, Tarangire National ParkMount Kilimanjaro, and Mount Meru in the Arusha National Park.

Day 1 : Arusha National Park

Ready for the safari adventure? In the morning, our guide will collect you from your hotel in Arusha. We head to Arusha National Park, home to diverse wildlife—giraffes, buffalo, zebras, Colobus monkeys, flamingos, elephants, and more. Experience stunning Northern Tanzanian landscapes. Post-lunch, join a ranger-led walking safari for close encounters with wildlife. Your day concludes with a return to Arusha for an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 2 : Arusha - Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up at your hotel at 0700hrs and transferred to  Tarangire National Park for your game viewing experience in this magnificent park famous for its large collection of baobab trees, spectacular large mammal population, and variety of bird species, not to mention one of the largest concentration of elephants in the country.
Later this evening depart to your accommodation at Mto wa Mbu Town.

Day 3 : Lake Manyara National Park

The Hippo Pool, though shallow, promises excellent opportunities for up-close hippo encounters, all while treating you to a stunning vista of the Rift Valley Escarpment.

Day 4 : Walking to Empakai Crater

The Empakai Crater is a smaller volcanic caldera located in the northern part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It is relatively lesser known compared to the more famous Ngorongoro Crater, but it’s still a stunning and unique landscape. The crater is about 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) wide and contains a soda lake at the bottom, which attracts various bird species, including flamingos. The walls of the crater are covered in lush vegetation, making it a beautiful and serene environment.

Empakai Crater is also known for its walking trails that allow visitors to hike down to the crater floor. The hike provides an opportunity to experience the breathtaking views and the diverse ecosystem within the crater. Additionally, the area surrounding the crater is inhabited by wildlife such as buffalo, baboons, and various bird species, enhancing the overall natural experience.

Day 9 : Serengeti - Lake Natron Through Klein's Gate

After breakfast, we’re saying bye to the amazing Serengeti National Park and heading to Lake Natron through Klein’s Gate, not far from Lobo airstrip. This gate is like a doorway to Lake Natron, Ol Doinyo Lengai, and the southern route.

Our journey takes us through the Loliondo game controlled area, where the Maasai people live. Here, the Maasai live side by side with wildlife, guiding their cattle against the stunning backdrop of the Greater Serengeti. This place is crucial for the Great Migration.

Once we reach the hotel, we’ll check-in and start our exciting plan, which includes:

  •  Learning about the Maasai Tribe’s cool culture. 
  • Checking out Lake Natron, the most alkaline lake around.

Here, you’ll have the opportunity to get up close and appreciate the remarkable presence of this natural wonder.

Later followed by a drive back to Arusha to connect with your flight backhome.
