Get ready for a friendly 2 days Tanzania safari adventure in Tanzania! We’ll start early from Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park, known for its big elephant families and cool baobab trees. We’ll take a comfy ride and go on exciting game drives, where you can see all kinds of animals living happily in their homes.
After a fun day in Tarangire, we’ll head to the Ngorongoro Crater on day two. It’s a special place where lots of animals live together peacefully. We’ll have a relaxing picnic lunch right there in the crater, surrounded by amazing views. This simple and kind 2-day safari is all about enjoying Tanzania’s beautiful nature and saying hello to some awesome animals in a way that lets them live their wild lives happily.
2 days tanzania safari Day By Day itinerary
After breakfast in Arusha, head to Tarangire National Park through Maasai steppe and villages. This park boasts a diverse landscape, including the Tarangire River, low hills, acacia woodlands, and iconic Baobab trees. The river and swamps are a vital water source, attracting a wide array of wildlife, such as elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, impalas, and various primates. Rare species like the Greater Kudu and Fringed-Eared Oryx can be spotted, along with predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Birdwatchers will appreciate over 400 bird species. In the evening, journey to Marera Valley Lodge, with a quick stop at the Lake Manyara viewpoint for picturesque views of the lake and its surroundings along the Great East African Rift Valley.

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Highlands, register at the gate, and then proceed to the Crater viewpoint for stunning panoramic views. Descend 600 meters into the Crater for a full day of game driving in this African Eden. You’ll encounter a rich diversity of wildlife, including wildebeest, eland, zebras, hippos, African elephants, and even the elusive black rhino. Predators such as lions, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, and leopards also thrive here, confined by the 600-meter-high crater walls. Don’t miss Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake teeming with flamingos, aquatic birds, and hippos. In the late afternoon, return to Arusha .
